I'm a 72 year old who decided to go grey 6 months ago, felt age and at home box hair dyes had ruined my hair. It looked terrible white on top and dark brown at back I know it suits some people but not me. I love this colour its great at the back where strands of grey became gold but the white in front needs a darker colour on it, will do that next month. So happy I found this. I did not give 5 stars as its a work in progress.

I'm 72 with very dried out hair especially on crown. Hair goes frizzy in damp/rainy weather. After a shampoo and using mask, hair instantly went from rough to smooth but it goes back to being coarse. Yesterday I put the mask on dry hair, wear it up on top for a week. Stop using hair dryer. Trim it and eventually using this mask will pay off.
Thanks so much for sharing Caro - the kids and I quite often run a small amount through our hair to leave in after the shower which really helps and Scott uses the Shea Curl as a product as well to define his curls. Like you said, you can't beat a good trim as well if it's been a while to support those lovely ingredients at work.
Lovely and shiny, but for some reason my hair went nearly black, I have brown hair, very fine and had previously used the ususal two two bottle mix which strips the hair to add colour. Having said that ,I love it ! It's settled to dark brown after a few washes and looks great

I'm not sure what the two two bottle mix is, but if it's stripping your hair it could be that it's made it more porous, so grabbing the colour more than we would expect. You could try going a shade lighter.
