Having being diagnosed with breast cancer and undergone chemotherapy, I realised that I could not dye my hair for 6 months. As I was feeling a little low and my hair was greying - I wanted to find a natural colour which is not as chemically driven as standard hair colour. I have used this hair colour twice (my sister applied the dye) - it is very easy to use and washes out simply and easily. The colour was sufficient to dye my grey hair and maintain its look for the 'normal' time of a standard dye. I will continue to use this dye - I also checked with my breast consultant and he said there was no biological issue with me using this natural product. I also checked with the Salon and they did not recommend I use - they wanted me to check with my Clinician - which I applaud them for - they did not take for granted that I could use following chemo. I will definitely continue to use this product. Thank you for developing it!

Poor product & poor customer service.
Product arrived in a brown envelope containing a leaflet a packet of powder dye & a small green bin bag.
Nothing to apply the dye to your hair & no disposable gloves.
When I enquired about how to return the product whoever responded to my email was blunt and unprofessional in response.
Poor experience all round.

We have worked hard on reducing the impact of our product on the planet by removing single use plastics from our offer and encourage customers to only order what they need, so you don't pay for anything except what you actually use.
For new customers we do offer a 'starter kit' which includes 1 x colour pouch, 1 x pair of reusable natural rubber gloves, 1 x tint brush for life, 1 x reusable & compostable cap (food bags work brilliantly, we tested them for quite a long time) and an instruction leaflet.
You can also buy any of these items individually.
To reduce the carbon footprint and cost of our shipping, mixing bowls and bottles can just be something that you already have at home. All we want to send you ideally is colour.
We do care deeply about this ethos and I'm sorry you didn't try the colour - we'd be more than happy to talk you through the application in a call if you'd like to reach out again.
